4th “Music Express Rock’n EMU” organised by “Eastern Mediterranean University Social and Cultural Activities Directorate took place at EMU Atatürk Square between 6 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Friday, 2 May 2014.
Within the framework of the festival, ‘Group Sansür’ from Eastern Mediterranean University Music Club, ‘Group Çaygara’ from Cyprus International University, ‘Group Doubtless’ from Middle East Technical University North Cyprus Campus, and ‘GAU’ Dominant from Girne American University brought color to the night with their outstanding performances. Following the university bands, Group “Strange Union” who has interoduced alternative rock music within TRNC took the stage.
At the end of the event, famous Turkish heavy metal group Pentagram took the floor. The concert which attracted great interest both from students and the public entertained the cheering crowd of heavy metal lovers. At the end of the concert, Group Pentagram was presented with a plaque of appreciation.
