In-service training for Beyarmudu Municipality staff by EMU-CEC

A series of in-service training sessions organised for the staff of Beyarmudu Municipality by Eastern Mediterranean University Continuing Continuing Education Center took place on 15 January 2014. Delivered by a team of specialists from EMU staff, the in-service training covered topics on ‘Word-of-Mouth Marketing’, ‘Interpersonal Communication’, ‘Social Media Management’, ‘Decision Making and Problem Solution Techniques I & II’, “Communication with Body Language I & II” and ‘Public Relations and Strategic Communication Methods’.

The mayor of Beyarmudu İlker Edip expressed his pleasure and contentment in receiving in-service training from EMU as an institution of higher education which has international recognition. Edip also put forth that they will continue to benefit from EMU’s high standards and expertise in their prospective training plans.

EMU Public Relations and Press Office Director and EMU-CEC coordinator Derviş Ekşici stressed the importance of in-service training at every level in the process of institutionalisation. Ekşici also stated that EMU’s services are not limited with students as the university provides numerous services for the TRNC community. At the end of his speech, Ekşici put forth that EMU Continuing Education Center is always ready to provide in-service training for the TRNC community, organisations and institutions.
