Doyenne of Turkish cinema, popular actress Perihan Savaş paid a visit of courtesy to EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam. As part of 24 November Teacher’s Day organisations, Perihan Savaş took a two-day visit to the TRNC.
EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam highlighted the importance of getting together with prominent artists like Savaş and reminded her that she starred in a film about Cyprus. Stating that she took part in a theatre play in EMU 10 years ago, Savaş added that they are visiting the TRNC due to 24 November Teacher’s Day. Expressing her pleasure in visiting EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam, Savaş received a frame made of silk cocoon from EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Osam. Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ahmet Sözen, Rector’s Coordinator, Assist. Prof. Dr. Arif Akkeleş, Director of Public Relations and Press Office Murat Aktuğralı and Principal of Eastern Mediterranean Doğa College Beran Tanseloğlu were also present at the meeting.
