Community Involvement Centre Under Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Social and Cultural Activities Directorate have organized a football tournament for four years in a row under the coordination of Community Involvement Centre Board Member Nazenin Ruso.
‘Barsolina’, ‘Furious’, ‘5 Star’, ‘Valencia Bakü’, ‘Azerbaycan’, ‘Lions’ and ‘Rekreasyon’ were the participating football teams at the event.
The championship was highly contested by all teams but the EMU football team named “Furious” ended up taking home the trophy with “Barsolina” coming second and “5 Star” taking the 3rd place.
Since the winning EMU team hosted the event, they gladly passed on the trophy to SOS Youth Home and stated that the most important factor in this event is the friendship they have made.
