AEGEE Famagusta Organised “17th Summer University” in EMU

Operating under Eastern Mediterranean University, Social and Cultural Activities Directorate, AEGEE Famagusta (European Students Forum) hosted 24 students from 14 different European countries in July. The organisation aimed to promote rich cultural, historical, traditional and natural qualities of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

During the 17th Summer University, whilst the visitors received Turkish courses, they also received information on the history of Cyprus, Cypriot cuisine and folk dances and took part in different tours within Famagusta as well as to Karpaz, Nicosia and Kyrenia regions. During the current summer period, AEGEE aims to organise a total of 68 activities in 100 different cities of Europe for 2045 participants. AEGEE Famagusta aims to rank within the first five through an organisation taking place in September.
