Eastern Mediterranean University Continuing Education Center (EMU CEC) ‘Ada Işığı’ Children’s Choir is finalising the preparations for a concert taking place at Ankara Presidential Symphony Orchestra Concert Hall. Taking place at 8:00 p.m. on 28 January 2015, the choir will perform “Vurgunum Sana Kıbrıs’ım” written by Ayşen Dağlı and composed by Faik Sudgeddinov and Cemal Özgürsel’s “Portakal Atışalım” along with an array of Cypriot songs.
Invited by Sevda Cenap And Music Foundation, EMU Ada Işığı Children’s Choir will be performing with SCA Music Foundation Jeunesses Musicalles Ankara Children’s Choir and SESVERSUS Vocal Group. The concert will take place under the conductorship of EMU Education Faculty Fine Arts Education Department Music Teaching Program academic staff member and chorus conductor Erkan Dağlı..
EMU CEC Ada Işığı Children’s Choir also has plans of visiting Anıtkabir during their stay in Ankara as well as carrying out joint performances with SCA MV Jeunesses Musicalles Ankara Children’s Choir under the conductorship of Fatma Bildiren. The choir will also visit Ankara Ethnography Museum and Children’s Museum.
