EMU Foreign Languages And English Preparatory School Attended The 8th Forum On Curricular Issues (FOCI)

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School attended the “8th Forum on Curricular Issues (FOCI)”, to which representatives teaching English at Turkey and TRNC universities participated and was led by Sabanci University and hosted by Izmir University of Economics. The theme of the forum was “The Quest for the Ideal Course Book” and Çiğdem Tuncergil, Assistant Director of Academic Affairs and Emete Mavili, curriculum team member represented EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School.

In the session, during which the innovations were presented, a presentation on the new changes made in the curriculum of the English Preparatory School based on the active use of English by the students was done by the English Preparatory School. The forum organized every six months hosted by various universities took place with the participation of 21 different universities. The forum aims to bring together curriculum design and development units of different universities to present innovations, share problems, and exchange ideas for solutions.
