Within the scope of Antalya Journalists Society Media Awards, journalists whose works were found successful in Hasan Özkay Photography Competition received their awards. In the said competition, Eastern Mediterranean University graduate, Akdeniz Bulletin News Director Esra Köksal received the journalist of the year award in the research-analysis category with her news titled “Antalya’s Drug Report”.
Cyprus Turkish Tourism Writers Association was also present at the 33rd Antalya Journalists Society Media Awards ceremony. EMU Tourism Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç, who is also an executive board member of the said association, extended his congratulations to Köksal.
Kılıç stated that they attended the event as the executive board members of the Cyprus Turkish Tourism Writers Association and that he was really proud to witness the remarkable success of one of the members of EMU alumni, Esra Köksal who is a graduate of the Eastern Mediterranean University Communication Faculty. At the end of his statement, Kılıç congratulated Köksal once again and wished her further success.
