EMU Hosted "12th Paramedic Training Coordination Board Meeting"

Organised by Eastern Mediterranean University Health Sciences Faculty, “12th Paramedic Training Coordination Board Meeting” took place at Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center on Friday 25 April 2014. As a pioneering institution in “First and Emergency Aid Program” in TRNC, Faculty of Health Sciences hosted 31 academics from 16 universities and 3 representatives of the Paramedic Association in the meeting.

EMU Health Sciences Vice Dean and chair of the Department of Dietetics Assist. Prof. Dr. Barış Öztürk expressed his happiness in hosting the event and thank all  the participants in his opening address.

Following Assist. Prof. Dr. Öztürk’s opening address, 9 Eylül University Medicine Faculty academic staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rıdvan Akar took the stage and stated EMU’s importance as a pioneering institution in paramedics training in TRNC. Assoc. Prof. Dr. thanked all participating academics and wished everyone a fruitful meeting.

After the opening speeches, Ege University Atatürk Health Services Vocational School academic staff member Assist. Prof. Dr. Semra Çelikli gave a presentation on “Standard Curriculum in Education-METEK”. During the one-day event, participants exchanged information on “First and Emergency Aid Program Training”.
