Organised biennially by the Cyprus Turkish Cultural Association (Ankara), 4th International Cyprus Symposium which will be hosted by EMU Center for Cyprus Studies will take place at Rauf Raif Denktaş Culture and Congress Center between 16 and 18 October 2014.
Members of the organising committee of the aforesaid event, chair of the Cyprus Turkish Cultural Association Dr. Ahmet Zeki Bulunç, Yaşar University Rector Prof. Dr. Murat Barkan, Vice Rector of Mersin University Prof. Dr. Yüksel Özdemir and Yaşar University Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty International Relations Department Chair Prof. Dr. Aylin Güney were at EMU on 18 August 2014.
The visiting team of contributors and chair of EMU Center for Women’s Studies Prof. Dr. Naciye Doratlı who finalised the organisation related work for the prospective symposium entitled “Rights of Cyprus and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the Light of International Law and 1982 UN Marine Law Treaty” also paid a visit to EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Abdullah Y. Öztoprak.
