A protocol was settled between Eastern Mediterranean University and the Public Service Commission on Monday, 3 July 2017. Signed by Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam and Public Service Commission Chair Kamil Kayral, the protocol contains criteria towards the procurement of questions for exams to be organized by the Public Service Commission.
Stating that they signed the same protocol with EMU in 2015, Kamil Kayral expressed his pleasure in settling the same protocol with EMU in 2017. Kayral put forth that the protocol is of special importance for them and added that they have once again chosen EMU for exam and item security it provides. Thanking Kayral for defining EMU as a trusted institution, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam added that EMU is the first and only university within the TRNC appearing in 2016-2017 World University Rankings and within the top 7 amongst the Turkish Republic university evaluations. Prof. Dr. Osam also provided information about state and public services offered by the university and added that the university will continue to provide high quality services as usual.
