Within the framework of the Nigerian Independence Day celebrations, Nigeria Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic Bauchi University Rector Dr. Bala Adamu Azare and famous Nigerian singer Olamide paid a visit to EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Osam at 10:30 a.m. on 31 October 2014. Expressing their fascination with EMU’s international qualities, the visiting group stated that EMU is a high-profile university delivering education at international standards.
Dr. Azare stated that they have been closely following EMU’s development and quality as his son is currently studying at EMU Engineering Faculty Civil Engineering Department. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Osam provided detailed information about EMU and exchanged information with Dr. Azare regarding the possibility of collaborations between the two universities.
Olamide, who is currently in TRNC to participate in the 54th Nigerian Independence Day celebrations, expressed her pleasure in visiting EMU.
Commencing at 8:00 p.m. on 31 October 2014, Nigerian Independence Day celebrations will end with Olamide’s concert at Lion’s Garden at 12:00 p.m.
