Results of the Test of International Legal English Skills (TOLES) held by Eastern Mediterranean University Law Faculty in collaboration with Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School and EMU Continuing Education Center have been announced.
EMU has been an official center of TOLES since 2011. Coordinator for TOLES Exams Peril S. Emiroğluları stated her happiness in the increasing success rate as well as the number of students taking the test every passing year. Adding that EMU Law Faculty offers TOLES elective courses, Emiroğluları also put forth that the university offers courses for lawyers and legal professionals upon demand. Interested lawyers may also sit for the exam without taking these courses.
Exam Coordinator Peril S. Emiroğluları stated that a total of 26 candidates sat for the last TOLES exam. In this respect, 1 lawyer from İstanbul Bar Association, 1 student from Marmara University Law Faculty, 3 students from EMU Arts and Sciences Faculty, Translation and Interpretation Department, and 21 students from EMU Law Faculty took the exam. The following is the names of the candidates who rank within the first four according to the exam results which are out of 100:

Samet Gülaydin (Marmara University Law Faculty ) – 88
Feza Kılgın (EMU Translation and Interpretation Department) – 87
Yigit Gokcehan Koçoğlu (EMU Law Faculty) – 81
