EKON501 Microeconomics

A first graduate level course in contemporary microeconomic theory. This course rigorously develops the theories of consumer choice and production theory of the firm, and analyzes theories of market behavior and efficiency. The latter portion of the course is devoted to considering certain policy implications of the theory developed earlier. The course assumes thorough knowledge of intermediate microeconomic theory with appropriate mathematical skills, including elementary differential calculus.

EKON502 Macroeconomics

This course will describe short term and long term issues in macroeconomics to the master students. In this course by considering short term, GDP unemployment, inflation, cyclical fluctuations, and using both IS-LM models and Mundell-Fleming models fiscal and monetary policies are examined. For the long term issues, the growth models are examined and basically Solow model is being studied.

MUHA513 Management Accounting

Understanding cost accounting fundamentals. Use of financial and non-financial information for managerial decision-making. That is, use of cost accounting information for cost management, performance measurement, cost control, relevant decision making in an attempt maximize the customer value with the possible lowest cost.
