Contemporary methods and techniques that can be utilized in teaching Turkish language; improving reading, writing, listening, speaking, comprehension skills; diagnosing and eliminating dyslexia (reading disability); structure of reading texts; teaching poems, informative and narrative texts, intertextual reading and writing; extrapolating from texts; improving vocabulary, media literacy (visual reading and presentation), reading and technology use, questions about extrapolating from texts and types of the questions; improving critical thinking by reading and writing; speed reading and techniques; main idea teaching and methods; aims, types and rules of reading; evaluation of reading, writing, listening, speaking and comprehension; analyzing primary school Turkish curriculum, its relation with other subjects will be addressed
