Under the course entitled “Advanced Photography”, Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) , Faculty of Communication Lecturer and photographer Ismail Gokce’s course entitled “ Advanced Photography” prepared a photo exhibition named “Together, One World”. The exhibition was held on June 3, Tuesday. North Cyprus Labour and Social Security Department under the Department of Social Services in collaboration with EMU Faculty of Communication students and Irfan Nadir over 18 Disabled Rehabilitation centre, students photographed mentally and physically disabled youth and adults for the exhibition.
Gokce delivered the opening speech and thanked all who participated in the event and to those who made it all happen.
Suleyman Irvan took stage after Gokce and talked about how obstacles are only made apparent by people themselves and that it is much easier in todays world to overcome these obstacles.
EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Abdullah Y. Öztoprak expressed his gratitude and voiced how the university values people with disabilities.
