Organised jointly by Eastern Mediterranean University Center for Cyprus Studies (EMU-CCS) and EMAA and taking place under the curatorship of Dr. Esra Plümer Bardak, the exhibition featuring the works of İsmet Tatar produced between 2006 and 2013 was inaugurated by Vice Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Hıfsiye Pulhan on Monday, 11 May 2015.
Taking place under the title “Geomorphologies’, the exhibition will be open for art lovers at EMAA Capital Arts Center between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. from 11 May to 12 June 2015. The exhibition reflects how Tatar got to the origins of things by using natural materials as medium for her art-work, material directly connected to the social environment.
