“Efficient Management” Seminar Held at EMU

A seminar titled “Efficient Management” was organized by the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Business and Economics Faculty, Business Department. Moderated by EMU Business Department Vice Chair Assist. Prof. Dr. Doğan Ünlücan, the event took place at Business and Economics Faculty where German Businessman Werner Dinkelaker delivered a presentation. The seminar was attended by EMU Business and Economics Department Vice Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Erkut, Business and Economics Department academic staff members and students.

The definition and importance of efficient management was discussed during the seminar. Moreover, discussions were also made on the critical importance of status analysis done during the crisis period and how to convert a crisis into an opportunity.

The presentation highlighted that businesses are going through challenging times due to various factors such as worsening economic conditions, high inflation, increasing costs, supply difficulties, declining demand in the market, heightened competition, and the impacts of wars on businesses. It emphasized the importance of making the right decisions during these periods of adversity. The event also addressed topics such as employee motivation, satisfaction, relationships with employees, and their personal development. Additionally, it was noted that customer satisfaction and customer relationships are of utmost importance. Dinkelaker also provided explanations about collaborations with local producers and businesses, as well as insights into company policies and strategic planning.
